A coffee set in the inspired by Italian Design. The set features cups, a pour over coffee pot, a pot for milk/ creamer and a tray.
In addition to final renderings of the set there is a also an exploded view of the the pour over pot with a materials chart, as well an orthographic view of the pot displaying how it fits together.
Process
I started by creating a mood board of Italian designs. that I enjoyed and wanted to emulate in my design. After this exploration I can away with a few key principles of Italian design:
Bold colors, Bold Silhouettes, and Clean Lines
From there I did sketches to find the form that I thought best represented these principles and eventually I refined this form down to my final design.
